Here are the top three favorites for this race 1. SHIVA'S SOLDIER (6) 2. MISS MONROE (2) 3. BLUE HORSE (1)

Which horse would win this race? Many people place a bet simply by choosing a name that they like or by which jockey's colours appeal to them the most! But by using the John Addey's method we can predict the winner of a particular horse race with greater accuracy! The rules of John Addey's system are:

  • First, cast the chart for the date, time and place of the race, using the Campanus house system
  • Regard everything in the chart as standing still, but move the 5th cusp through its sign (anticlockwise) until it makes an aspect with a planet. The first planet it aspects shows the winning horse!
  • Identify the winning horse by name association, house rulership or association with the horse's nature.

We see the 5th cusp placed 4.20 Capricorn and the immediate aspect it makes with Mercury 3.00 sitting in Taurus. Both are feminine planet and sign. This shows us that the winner will be a Mare. Hence I will go with Miss Monroe as tomorrow's winner.

Indeed a Mare/Female ASHWA SANWRI won the race. I needed further detail such as Jockey jersey color and relation of names with planets to be more accurate.

Nature of the planet and sign revealed the gender correctly. Great observation.

Why only top 3 were considered for prediction? No concept of underdog in this method?

This concept and method is very different than traditional Conflict Sports charts.

I considered the top three as there was a Miss Monroe was second favorite, and since a Mare was going to win, she could be probable. The race card didnt show jersey color of the jockey, further the name ASHWA SANWRI wanst giving me any clue relating it to Mercury.

Mumbai races are much better, as they provide a lot of detail. Will experiment further during Mumbai or Bangalore races.
